30th Anniversary of the Peaceful Revolution 2019
 
 

The highlight of the festivities to mark the anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall on November 9 is “Germany‘s longest conversation”, a round table discussion at four locations along the former inner-German border. We developed the interior concept and set design in cooperation with RGB, on behalf of Fischer Appelt for the German government.

 

“Every place invites you into its living room.” An individual mix of furniture and materials is designed with reference to the respective location – urban and young for the industrial hall in Hof, bright and inviting for the Kulturhaus in Geisa. The interior of the temporary architecture on the former border strip in Böckwitz is based on the key words down-to-earth and communal, for the St. Petri church in Ratzeburg it‘s rich in detail and historic.
