The intermodal research project "Skycab" defines a mobility concept for an air taxi in the inner-European model region between Meuse, Rhine and Ruhr. Economic efficiency, technical aspects and the demands of the population for safety and comfort are key research priorities.
BRAUNWAGNER is developing the brand, the corporate design, the design system and the HMI for the Skycab mobility concept. In coordination with the consortium partners, possible use cases and relevant personas are defined and analyses of urban and transurban structures are prepared.
The specially developed font of the word mark is composed of corresponding design elements of the Visual Product Language of the Skycab Aviation Design. It gives the word mark a dynamic character. In addition to the pure word mark, there is a logo variant with the brand claim: "SCIENCE. NOT FICTION."
The key visual - as the leitmotif of the Skycab brand, creates a reference to the core competence of the product - the better connection of different forms of mobility in the sense of new mobility hubs that need to be created. It can be used as a design element or as a connecting element for icons. The developed appearance should contribute to strengthening Skycab as a brand. Above all, a recognition value is to be created. The design pursues the strategy of establishing Skycab as a safe and trustworthy transport system of the future.
